11-8-04 already
The weekend flew as it normally does. Friday is just a distant memory now.
Saturday, we stayed home to clean house and try to winterize it. After our 30 degree mornings, it was up in the high 70's all weekend. I managed to mow the yard and Kelli winterized the windows.
Sunday morning we went to church and then off to a skating party for one of our daughters friends. I hadn't skated in years. I was surprised I managed to stay up on them throughout the 2 hours. I feared I would be alot sorer this morning than I am. It was the first time the kids actually went skating. Our son took to it great. He kept going down but didn't stay down. He was a trooper and really liked it. Our daughter on the other hand, bawled and whined up to nearly 15 minutes before we left and then only enjoyed it. Everytime she went down she wanted to quite. sigh. But in the end they both wanted skates for Christmas. Go figure.
I will have a short week this week for work. I have a seminar to go to Thursday and I am off this Friday. Initially we were thinking to go to Texas for a visit of Kelli's cousin but we nixed it due to funds. Hopefully they will not require a weeks worth in 3 days. I know they will want it but we will see.
